Event Details

The eighth annual SURGE conference will be held at Duke University in Durham, NC, the weekend of March 30 - April 1, 2007. Friday night will feature keynote speaker, Mary Anne Hitt, of Appalachian Voices, followed by a day of workshops and panels on Saturday on a broad range of topics regarding climate change, sustainable energy, fair labor practices, and other environmental and social justice issues.
